Concord residents who install central air conditioning systems that have an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of 13 or higher are eligible for a rebate. The higher the EER, the higher the rebate per ton of air conditioning capacity. This rebate is capped at $3,000 per customer per year.

Electric Heat Weatherization Rebates

For customers who heat with electricity, Concord will rebate 40% of eligible weatherization measure costs up to a maximum of $1,000.  Eligible measures include:  ceiling, floor, and wall insulation, duct and pipe insulation, HVAC duct sealing, and general air sealing (blower door testing is also included).

Additional information can be found here.

Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) Rebates

Concord Light offers its customers a rebate when an ETS heating system is purchased and installed (this applies to both new customers and existing customers who upgrade or replace their systems). Your account will be credited $100 for each KW installed. For example, if you purchase a 35KW boiler, you would receive a credit on your account for $3,500 (35KW x 100).

Concord Light also offers a first year guarantee on your ETS heating system. If you are not completely satisfied with your ETS heating system during its first heating season, Concord Light will remove it at no charge and reimburse you the invoice price for the unit(s), excluding installation and electric service upgrade costs.
