Pool pumps may be cycled to minimize their operation during on-peak hours by using load management equipment similar to that used in the Concord Light Plant's existing off-peak electric hot water program. They will test existing equipment next summer

Green electricity is now available from Acton Hydro and the Concord Light Plant! Electricity generated from hydro-electric power stations produces minimal pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
